It's your birthday!

Something about today's XKCD made me smile big and wide, and I found it oddly life-affirming. I'd been having kind of a crappy night, and this cheered me up to no end.

We all need a friend like that, and I think it turns out I have a few. Thanks, y'all - you know who you are.

It's a FONTS WEEK BONUS

After fonts week closed down, XKCD just happened to come out with a perfect postscript:

Finally, someone agrees with me

Every year after my birthday, everyone says, "man, your birthday sure makes you grumpy!"

Well, true.

On the other hand, at least T-Rex has my back on this.

Buttersafe Expo

I feel strongly that all readers of this blog should try and hit this thing.

Garfield without Garfield

Everybody has seen this, right? The short version: it turns out that if you photoshop the cat out of Garfield comics, the strip goes from being the definitive "bad comic strip" to something screamingly hysterical.

I felt this one deserved some special mention.

In all fairness, I should reveal that I am genetically related to 50% of the Buttersafe.com team. However, in no way does that make this any less funny.

Web Comic Roundup

You know how it is. You're up late, surfing the inter-tubes, and 57 clicks later you've discovered a new web comic.

Like I did, last week:

This entry of The Warehouse made me an instant fan.

But, it occurs to me that perhaps this means a webcomic round up is in order. So, the wecomic I read on a regular basis (that you should be to0):

Buttersafe
Achewood
Dinosaur Comics
XKCD
Penny Arcade

Feel free to post the ones I forgot in the comments. We'll do a part II once I remember all the ones I should be reading.
